In October 2024, following a feature on BBC Breakfast that highlighted the team’s challenges and aspirations, John Terry personally reached out to offer assistance. He invited members of the team and staff to Chelsea’s Cobham Training Ground for a tour and matchday experience, including attending a Women’s Champions League game between Chelsea and Real Madrid from the players’ private box.

This gesture not only provided the team with unforgettable memories but also significantly boosted their fundraising efforts kickstarted with a £1,200 grant from the Foundation helping them surpass their financial goals and secure their participation in the World Cup.
