In October 2025, a £1,000 grant was awarded to the Hampton & Richmond Girls U8 Warriors to support their grassroots football activities.
The funding helped provide new kit, goals and equipment for a new pitch in Hampton Hill, ensuring that young players have the facilities and resources needed to enjoy the game in a positive and inclusive environment.
The new pitch will support the current U8 team and may also enable the introduction of the FA’s proposed 3v3 format for U7 players, creating further opportunities for younger children to get involved in football. This grant reflects the John Terry Foundation’s commitment to building confidence, teamwork and opportunity for young people through grassroots sport.
